Quirksome is a game that tests the accuracy of your first impressions. Despite admonishments not to judge a book by its cover, over the last 15 years researchers have discovered that people are surprisingly good at guessing some personality traits based on very “thin slices” of information (while awful at making predictions about others). This thin slices phenomenon was popularized in, among other places, Malcolm Gladwell's bestselling book, “Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking,” and is the premise behind the speed-dating sensation.
